Bargaining and Benefit Updates

Thanks to the efforts of labor unions like AFSCME Council 4, workers in Connecticut are protected by, and have access to, statutory rights under law. These are not an accident. Whether it's the state union coalition agreement that is the basis for our health care and pension benefits, or the establishment of the Connecticut Partnership 2.0 (which enables cities and towns to participate in the state health care plan), union members have been central to making our state a stronger and better place for workers.

The following links are designed to help you find some of the laws, rights and programs that protect workers and define our collective bargaining rights.
